Sending Final Grades from RamCT to ARIES
NEW! Beginning in July 2008
RamCT can help make submitting final grades in ARIESweb fast, easy, and accurate! Beginning July 2008 instructors may choose to import final grades from their RamCT grade book into the ARIESweb Grade Input Form.
EASY!
It is easy to set up the two columns following the steps in our “How-To” and then by using the “Import RamCT Grades” button at the bottom of the ARIESweb Grade Input Form the grades are copied over in a flash!
Instructors Always Verify Before Submitting
As always, instructors need to verify their grades before submitting, but this process frees instructors from manually entering each final grade into ARIESweb.
Setup Early
We encourage instructors to setup their two columns early in the semester when adding the content to each section.
Before you Start
There are some prerequisites to check before you start your setup to ensure success, and special situations to be aware of which accommodate a wide variety of grading styles – View the “How-To”.
Successful Pilot
This process was tested by a pilot group of 38 instructors in May 2008. Participants’ responses were overwhelmingly positive. Feedback included comments like: “Great documentation – easy to follow”, and “This will save time, especially for large classes”.
