Sending Final Grades from RamCT to ARIES
Saving instructors Time and Effort was the goal when ACNS, Information Systems and the Registrar's Office developed a process to import final grades from the RamCT grade book into ARIESweb. A pilot for this process was conducted in spring and summer 2008 with great success.
FAST and EASY!
Instructors set up two unique columns in the RamCT grade book and then use the “Import RamCT Grades” button at the bottom of the ARIESweb Grade Input Form. The "How-To" document explains the prerequisites and guides you through the process. Or our flash videos will show you step by step how to use the grade import process.
Verify Before Submitting
As always, instructors need to verify their grades before submitting, but this process frees instructors from manually entering each student’s final grade into ARIESweb.
Setup Early
We encourage instructors to setup the two grade book columns early in the semester when adding the content to each section. But you can add these columns at any time to your RamCT grade book.
Move grades from Excel to RamCT to ARIES
If you keep your grades in a spreadsheet such as Excel, you can move those grades to the RamCT grade book and from there import into ARIES.
