RamCT Section Access
The "Open/Close/Delete" Process
For CSU Academic RamCT sections (created through ARIES) this policy is implemented beginning November 2008.
- MBA classes follow the same process and schedule except sections are created by the MBA staff and student access is slightly longer.
- For Noncredit classes, access is set by the Division of Continuing Education.
The life cycle of a RamCT academic section flows like this:
- starts with the section request and content creation by the instructor,
- use of the class during the semester by students,
- an open period for instructor use for one year after the completion of the semester to copy content forward and allow students to finish Grade Incompletes,
- a closed period of one year,
- then deletion of the section from the server.
