Recommendations to Designers/Instructors on RamCT Section Backups and Grade Books:
ACNS has determined it is not feasible for central RamCT administrators to create or store individual RamCT section backups, therefore the following is suggested:
- It is recommended that Designers/Instructors make section backups and download them to their computers or network drives before and after making major changes to section content/design, and at the end of each semester. If the instructor needs a section restored, RamCT Administrators can use the instructors backup file and restore it. Instructions on how to make a backup of your section.
- It is recommended that Instructors download the Grade Book to their computers or network drives before and after major changes, and at the end of each semester. The instructor can use this file in a spreadsheet program, such as Excel, to quickly look up grades if students have questions at a later date. Instructions on how to export the Grade Book.
