RamCT Visitor Accounts
Each college has RamCT visitor accounts that can be used to provide temporary access:
- at the beginning of a semester to students who intend to register.
- for guest lecturer(s) who need access for less than 30 days.
To Use A RamCT Visitor Account:
- Check-out a visitor account from your college’s RamCT Coordinator
If you have both students waiting to register and guest lecturers who need access to your RamCT section you should use two separate visitor accounts: one for the students and one for guest lecturers.
- Enroll the Visitor Account to your section.
- For a student visitor account, enroll it as an Auditor. Use this one visitor account per section for all of your students awaiting registration. Auditor accounts have the same access to course content and tools as a student account.
- For a guest lecturer visitor account, it may be enrolled as an Auditor, Section Designer or Teaching Assistant.
- Advise your student Visitor users not to submit assignments or emails as the Visitor, rather to wait until their registration in ARIES has come through as a student into RamCT.
- When finished with the Visitor account, unenroll the Visitor account from your section
- Check-in your Visitor account with your RamCT Coordinator.
